An Elegant Makeup Look with A Hint of Colour – Ideal for AM to PM

Recently, the landscape of makeup trends has seen an exceeding rise in colourful looks with shades of pastel pink, blues, grays and browns. In this blog, we will take you through a simple, easy-to-do natural eye makeup look that you can adorn from day to night with a hint of colour.

How to create a colourful eye makeup look?

For this makeup look, you will need the below products:

1. Cobalt Blue Kajal
2. Charcoal Black or Ash Gray Kajal (optional)
3. Gulaab Jal Tinted Lip Serum

Step 1

Use the Cobalt Blue Kajal to line your upper eye lid. It does not have to be very fine as it has to be smudged later. Make as thick or fine a line as you prefer with this natural kajal.

Step 2

With a flat brush and the softest touch, smudge the line you drew on your upper lid. The Gulaab Khaas Kajals are extremely easy to blend with excellent pigmentation. The Cobalt Blue Kajal is a beautiful shade that gets its pigment from the delicate blue petals of the Aparajita flowers. It is the ideal shade for Indian skin tones.

Essential tip:

You can also create a wing while smudging the natural kajal. This will elongate the eyes and lend them an almond-like shape.

Step 3

Use the Ash Gray or Charcoal Black Kajal in your waterline and gently smudge it out. If you prefer a monotone look, you can also use the Cobalt Blue Kajal in your waterline. This step specifically, lends more dimension to the eyes. It is key to smudge the kajal till below your lower lash line so your eyes don’t appear smaller but bigger and brighter.

Ensure that the end of your upper lid eyeliner and lower lash line kajal meet at the corner of your eye in the shape of a small wing for appearance of elongated eyes.

Step 4

Finally, apply the Gulaab Jal Madhu Rasa Tinted Lip Serum that has a rose pink tint. Gently dab your lips with your finger for a more natural makeup look. You can reapply this moisturizing lip serum through the day. If you are in the mood for a more colourful makeup look for the night, apply the Anar Rasa Tinted Lip Serum that has a ruby red tint. Use this colour on your cheeks and dab gently for flushed looking cheeks.
