Effective DIY Remedies For Glowing Skin

Tomato Juice & Lemon

You can mix together equal parts of lemon juice and tomato juice. For extra exfoliation, add one tablespoon of oatmeal (optional). Apply the mixture on the skin. Leave it on for about 15 minutes, and then rinse it off. Do this daily, or three or four times a week for about a month. 

Being rich in vitamin C and antioxidants, tomato juice is excellent for achieving glowing and blemish-free skin.It helps shrink large pores and cure acne due to its astringent properties. Aloe Vera & Cucumber

Take 30 ml aloe vera juice every day early morning empty stomach. It purifies blood and improves skin functioning. Apply Aloe Vera Gel on skin for its healing properties.

Apply fresh juice extracted from a cucumber on your skin using a cotton ball for improved skin texture. Leave it on for 20 to 30 minutes, and then wash it off with cool water. Do this daily for at least one month. Astringent in nature it also opens your pores and helps clear scars and blemishes. 

Papaya & Banana

Plain raw papaya is an all-natural acne remedy that removes dead skin cells and excess lipids from the surface of the skin, leaving it soft and smooth. Mash up the flesh of the papaya well, until it is of a consistency that can be easily applied to your skin. Leave it on for 10-15 minutes, and then rinse off completely with warm water.

Massage with Banana peels is effective. It contains something called lutein, an extremely powerful antioxidant that reduces swelling and inflammation, and encourages healthy cell growth.

Almonds & Coconut Oil

For dry and patchy skin with pigmentation – Take Powdered Almonds – 8 gms, Fresh Cream -3 gms and Lemon juice -a few drops.Mix all the ingredients with ready-made ubtan and make a thin paste. Apply all over the face for 15-20 mts. Massage using the fingertips in a circular motion and wash with water.Alternatively, you can try the Forest Essentials Almond, Honey & Pistachio Facial Cleansing Paste.

Fenugreek Leaves

You can also take some Methi seeds, make a paste and apply it on your face as a spot treatment for breakouts.
