Benefits of using silk soaps over ordinary soaps
As per authentic Ayurvedic methodology and formulations, the Silk Soaps are made using the finest natural ingredients, blends, and unique processes, such as a ghee wash and pure silk infusion. The soaps are prepared by hand using the old-fashioned cold process, which helps to retain the essential fatty acids in the soap. Water is added to pure cow’s ghee and is churned thoroughly by hand, to remove excess water, and the mixture is then strained through very fine muslin cloth. This is repeated at least 20 times to get a very fine light quality of ghee which makes its molecules easily absorbed by the skin. Natural silk is then infused, which confers the silken texture & consistency to the soaps. Pure natural spring water, herb and flower teas and essential oils are blended to further enrich the concoction; these cleanse, nourish and replenish moisture levels, countering the effects of stress and pollution.

The lustrous silk soaps contain benefits of the natural Coconut, Palm and Almond organic oils, as well as of pure Ghee, to the skin. The oils deeply moisturize and add glow to the skin, while the Pure Ghee is composed of highly effective compounds that regenerate and nourish skin cells.
The soaps also infuse fresh herbs including Ashwagandha- to rejuvenate the skin, Mulethi-which refines skin texture, and Vacha- for moisture replenishment. The natural humectant ingredients: Milk, Yogurt and Raw Honey, are also dissolved in the soaps to retain moisture in the skin. Finally, the finest Lac Oil, pure Sandalwood Paste and Silk Infusion, combine to clarify and tone the texture of the skin, leaving it with a natural sheen.

Preserving the natural fragrance, color and texture of its ingredients, this unique soap contains 25% of Panch Amrit, also known as Ambrosia. This soap also consists of pure Desi ghee, whole cream milk, fresh yoghurt, raw Organic Honey and Cane sugar. It is a deeply cleansing and nourishing soap.
Lakshadi Tailam or Lac Oil has been used for centuries in Ayurveda for its wonderful clarifying properties. The finest Lac derived from Kusum trees along with fresh and Sandalwood paste, are infused in Sesame Oil, which balances oil production and helps to minimise open pores. The healing properties of Multani Mitti and Kasturi Manjal clarify, refresh and protect the skin while Tea tree oil and Nagkesar treat pigmentation and even out the skin tone.
Our Iconic Soundarya Serum and the Soundarya Ubtan are both incorporated in this soap with their high performance properties and exquisite fragrances. An ancient recipe, this soap is unique in its properties, which confer smooth, radiant and brilliantly polished skin. It contains 52 herbs including Turmeric, Fennel Seeds, Star Anise Fruit, Sandalwood, Fenugreek, Manjistha, Cinnamon, Clove, Nutmeg, Marjoram, Poppy Seeds, Camphor and Saffron which leave the complexion soft, glowing and gently polished. The soap also includes 24 K Gold Bhasm, which is an excellent anti-oxidant and has the property of penetrating to the deepest layer of skin, thereby providing radiance and increased elasticity.
The unique aspect of this soap is that it is formulated with the freshest, deeply scented desi rose petals, layered with cane sugar, and then kept in the sun to prepare for over 60 days. The moisturizing properties of the rose, its scent and delicacy are captured in the resulting mass. This mass is then mixed with butter, oils and fresh pastes; all infused with silk, to create an incomparably exquisite soap.
Each of these soaps has been carefully cured over 12 weeks, with no artificial colours or synthetic fragrances.
Can silk soaps be used on the face?
These bath soaps are made from all natural ingredients keeping the skin of the body in mind. Since the skin on the face is more sensitive, we recommend using our formulated Ayurvedic face washes to cleanse the face.
Do silk soaps have foam?
The silk soaps deeply cleanse the skin with minimal foam produced by natural ingredients. We do not add any foaming agents in the Silk Soaps.
